How we look after your details

Driveways Glasgow is a Glasgow paving contractor. We install driveways ourselves and we are the data controller for the personal information you send us through this website. You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@drivewaysglasgow.org.uk.

When you submit the quote form we collect the details you type in:

• •Your name and telephone number
• •Your postcode
• •The approximate area of the driveway in square metres
• •Your preferred surface material
• •Whether you need a dropped kerb
• •Any notes you add about access, levels, existing surfaces or timescales

We use these details for one purpose: to give you an indicative price band for your driveway and to arrange a site measure so we can provide a fixed, written quote. We do not use your details for marketing lists and we do not send newsletters.

We carry out our own installations, so your details are not passed to third-party installers or lead-generation companies. Your quote request is stored securely with our hosting and database provider, who process it on our behalf and under our instructions. Where a dropped kerb application is needed, we will only include your address details in the council application with your agreement.

We rely on your consent, given when you press “Send quote request”. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us, and we will stop processing your enquiry and delete it.

We keep quote requests only as long as we need them to respond to your enquiry. If you do not go ahead, we delete the request once the enquiry has closed. If you do go ahead, we keep the details relevant to your job for the duration of the work and the guarantee period that follows it, so that we can honour the guarantee.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• •Ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate
• •Ask us to erase your data
• •Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we process it

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@drivewaysglasgow.org.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
